8 km: half-day If you have never been in a canoe-kayak on the river before, this descent is perfect for you. It’s not so difficult; the flow of the river will guide you through the throats of Saillans. You will need approximate 2 hours or a little more if you take your time. Departure from the camp-site, arrival at the roundabout near Saillans, next to the Magnerie. We will pick you up from there.

14 km:
This descent is a little adventure for 3 or 4 hours, depending on your rhythm.
You will fully enjoy the nature surrounding you. Departure preferable between 10 and 12 a .m.
We will bring you upstream by bus and you will arrive directly at the camp-site.

22km:
A one-day descent. You will start from St Auban to the camp-site or from Die to the camp-site. We will bring you upstream or pick you up on arrival. Departure during the morning. Don’t forget your lunch. It’s possible to order sandwiches at the restaurant (not included).
You can put a tent on the camp-site or hire accomodation. See lodging page

We can provide you with canoes for 2/3 persons, kayaks for 1 person, paddles, life jackets,  sealed cans, and helmets if desired.

According to the regulation in force, you must meet the following conditions before starting:
- Age 7 years or older and be able to swim
- No medical indication for this kind of activities
- You should wear the life jacket throughout the descent.

Provisions for the descent: - Wear tennis shoes or water shoes - Bathing suit, shorts, t-shirt, towel - Cap, sun glasses, sweater following the weather - Put on sun protection cream - Bring enough water and food.

Day 2 - departure around 10h00: descent of 18 km , approximately 3-4 H
. When you are ready to continue this great descent through the Throats of Saillans, you can start from the camp-site. Think about your lunch again.
We will pick you up at arrival and bring you back to the camp-site, where you can prepare your departure.

Day 1 - departure around 10h30 : descent of 25 km from Pont de Quart to the camp-site -  Late morning departure from camp-site by bus to the starting point upstream. Don’t forget your lunch, we can arrange sandwiches for you (not included). - Stay on the camp-site for the night in a mobil-home or bungalow, breakfast and dinner included. Day 2 - departure around 10h00 : descent of 25 from the camp-site till Crest - We will pick you up at arrival and bring you back to the camp-site. - Don’t forget your lunch today!
